‘We’ve been friends since primary school. It was great that we could go on to Nuenens College together afterwards. Even though we’re friends, our interests differ; while one of us wanted to continue studying, the other went straight into the workforce.’

Anouk: ‘I’m currently studying Commercial Economics at the university of applied sciences. Thanks to the Economics & Entrepreneurship track at Nuenens College, I knew that was the path for me. I’m really in the right place. In ten years’ time, I hope to have my own marketing business; that sounds like a lot of fun.’ 

Amber: ‘Ms. Kols was a huge help to me. Whenever I wanted to approach something differently, she was always ready to brainstorm with me. It was partly thanks to her that I discovered what I enjoyed. I’m now working as a childcare worker, and I can see myself doing that for years to come—with just as much enjoyment as I have now.’ 

Fleur: ‘I’m studying Care and Safety at the university of applied sciences. I don’t know exactly which direction I want to take yet, but I do want to make a difference in the sector I’m training for. What I learned at Nuenens College is to have confidence in myself. It doesn’t matter if your path sometimes takes a different turn than you expected; you’ll get there in the end.’
