Collaborating

Brainport school

Brainport Schools are a partnership between schools, businesses, and organizations in the Brainport region. They share one goal: to provide future-oriented education! The network aims to further stimulate the self-development of students, focusing on creativity, technology, entrepreneurship, and internationalization. But most importantly: a Brainport School ensures that students can develop their talents to the fullest.

Why do we consider it important to be a Brainport School?

At Nuenens College, we teach VMBO students, preparing them for practical careers in society. As society changes rapidly, we believe it is important to give this aspect special attention. Brainport education helps us do just that; within the network, we exchange knowledge and experience to prepare our students as effectively as possible for a lifetime of learning. After all, society is eager to welcome our students!

What does this mean for our students?

As a Brainport School, we actively collaborate with organizations in the region. For instance, if a student is interested in computer chips, the school can connect them with a tech company. Students can also attend activities—such as the annual STRP Festival—with their entire class, where they meet creatives, artists, and makers. Want to know more?
