Our school
At Nuenens College, our students are at the center. They determine what they want to learn more about, and they do so from the first year. In their first year, students choose from one of our four lower secondary routes: Green, Arts, Sports, and Discover. This way, they immediately start following education that suits them.
Throughout their education, our students get the chance to discover what truly suits them. They take lessons in the classroom but also frequently go outside, for example, to visit companies in the region. In addition, they participate in various activities that help them gain a clearer understanding of the opportunities that lie ahead for them. From organizing a sports day for primary school students to participating in an educational trip abroad that focuses on language and cultural differences.
By the end of their time at Nuenens College, our students are ready to take the next step to mbo.
Brainport school
Nuenen is located in the heart of the Brainport region, an area that is constantly evolving. This presents opportunities for our students. Therefore, Nuenens College has recently become a Brainport School.
What does this mean for our students? They don’t just learn inside the school. They also go outside, for example, to visit local businesses. Additionally, we ensure that students develop skills that will help them in the future, such as collaboration.
